Membership
Membership in the St. Tammany Genealogical Society is open to everyone interested in learning more about family history research and publishing. The STGS goals and activities should facilitate your efforts to research and document your family history.
To join the STGS, send an application with your check or money order to the STGS Treasurer, c/o the STGS at the address listed on Home Page and the Membership Application). You can print an application by using the link below.

Under 40
- $250.00
40 to 49 - $200.00
50 to 54 - $150.00
55 to 59 - $125.00
60 to 64 - $100.00
65 to 69 - $75.00
70 to 74 - $50.00
75 to 79 - $ 25.00
80 + - Free
Membership categories & dues notes:
1. New members who join the STGS during or after the regular October meeting, but prior to January 1st, shall have a valid membership thru the following calendar year.
2. New members who join the STGS after January 1st, but before the regular October meeting will receive all of the newsletters for the current year and shall have a valid membership thru 12/31 of that year.
3. Family memberships have only one vote on STGS motions or proposals.
4. Student membership is available for any full time student under the age of 25.
5. Membership categories 4, 5 & 6 are non-voting memberships.
6. The Life membership schedule is based on the age of the member before 12/31 of the year proceeding the membership year. The Life Membership includes the spouse.
